    Default using different outgoing server

My ISP (Bellsouth DSL) is going to soon require customers to use their own outgoing smtp server even if we have e-mail accounts with with other people (i.e. like the accounts I use for westhost. Will this work ok? Are there any other issues I should be aware of? Their reasoning for doing this is to curtail spam.

It should work fine. The only thing you'll need to be aware of is that you will have to change your From: (or Reply-To in your e-mail program to match the WestHost account/domain (assuming you wish to continue using that [WestHost] e-mail account), and not your ISP account. I have done this before to establish a faster SMTP connection/send mail faster, and it worked fine - but that may be ISP dependant.

If you have any problems, you could always install webmail on the account(s) and use that.
