    Exclamation Roundcube no longer works after todays maintenance

    Hello,

    I got an email from westhost, saying they'd be performing maintenance.
    I'm assuming this happened earlier today, as my site was down for a bit.

    Everything is back up now, but Roundcube no longer works.

    When I try to login, I get:Connection to storage server failed.

    I googled the error, and it isn't something easily fixable as far as I can see...
    Did something change to imap, or what happened?

    I've been running it for years without issues....

    To people running into the same issue: restarting the server fixed the issue for me...

    This is pretty much useless now... every time I want to use roundcube, I have to reset my account.
    What happened here?

    Everything worked perfect until yesterday, and I didn't change anything at all...

    Checking my mail log, it's full with dovecot time messages like this:
    Time just moved backwards by 5 seconds. I'll sleep now until we're back in present. http://wiki.dovecot.org/TimeMovedBackwards
    Time just moved backwards by 2 seconds. I'll sleep now until we're back in present. http://wiki.dovecot.org/TimeMovedBackwards
    Fatal: Time just moved backwards by 11 seconds. This might cause a lot of problems, so I'll just kill myself now. http://wiki.dovecot.org/TimeMovedBackwards

    This started March 19th, so I'm assuming WestHost did something to dovecot?

    I have now contacted support about the issue, hoping that they can fix/rollback whatever the broke yesterday...

    Hi Kyler,

    Thanks for the support.

    On a side note, everytime I create a support ticket, I get an email with a link to https://cp.westhost.com.
    But I don't have a login/account there (at least none that I'm aware of). I'm an "old" west host user, and I manage my site through a manager link (not the cp for new virtual hosts).

    How do I login to cp.westhost.com? Could you mail me or send me a pm on this?

    The issue is back since a few days, what has changed?

    It started here:
    May 11 10:02:35 mydomain.com dovecot: Fatal: Time just moved backwards by 20957 seconds. This might cause a lot of problems, so I'll just kill myself now. http://wiki.dovecot.org/TimeMovedBackwards

    My log is full again with:
    May 12 18:12:31 mydomain.com dovecot: Time just moved backwards by 1 seconds. I'll sleep now until we're back in present. http://wiki.dovecot.org/TimeMovedBackwards

    Ending with:
    May 12 18:21:47 mydomain.com dovecot: Fatal: Time just moved backwards by 9 seconds. This might cause a lot of problems, so I'll just kill myself now. http://wiki.dovecot.org/TimeMovedBackwards

    I pretty much have to restart my server again every time I want to check my mail, just like back in March...
