    Default timthumb script

I know the security issues around the use of the timthumb.php script, but I'm working with a Wordpress theme that unfortunately still relies on it, and rebuilding the site in another theme would be big, big pain. My images are having issues with not showing up, and I receive an error like this:

    A TimThumb error has occured
    The following error(s) occured:

Could not find the internal image you specified.

    Query String : src=
    TimThumb version : 2.8.5

The image definitely exists, and my permissions are set correctly, but no dice. The query string is truncated in this error message, for what it's worth. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Any way around it?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Is this perhaps the answer.

It looks like the current version of this script may have changed quite a bit so the above would not fit. Also the above is when you are running non a Windows machine which WH does not offer. By the looks of the URL you are using it could be you are trying to run this on a local windows machine though. Also the newest version does not use the built in realpath function anymore.

It might be if you simply update to the newer version you'll be fine.
