    Default MySQL Tuning and Performance

I've found these scripts helpful in MySQL Tuning and Performance

    tuning-primer.sh
    http://www.day32.com/MySQL/
    http://www.day32.com/MySQL/tuning-primer.sh

And this one is based off of it
    http://wiki.mysqltuner.com/MySQLTuner
    http://mysqltuner.com/mysqltuner.pl

I tried a program called monolith but couldn't get it working right

    Default slow query analyzers

for running these, 48+ hours uptime is recommended

this one may be useful, though I didn't try it

westhost has recommended this one but I couldn't get it to do anything
    http://www.willamowius.de/mysql-tools.html

this one also looks useful. I ran it once and it worked, though it took a while to run
    http://hackmysql.com/mysqlsla
I ran it from /var/log as
    ./mysqlsla-2.03 -lt slow slow_queries.log > slaoutput.log
to save the output. (it had set in /etc/my.cnf log-slow-queries = /var/log/slow_queries.log for a while) Now I just need to figure out what to do with it...

    I didn't try this

This seems to be the same at the day32 script
