I already have an account here, but was thinking about adding a radio blog to my existing site. I know some hosting companies allow it, but others do not, and will remove your site if you have a radio blog. Does Westhost allow this?

You should ask them. :) Much would depending on the resources of the server that your radio blog would use. If it did not affect the server in a negative way then more then likely they would allow it.

verity,

As Shawn noted, there isn't any restrictions we put in place on radio blogs other than resource usage. First, space and bandwidth (which are noted on a per Hosting Plan basis. Second, server CPU and RAM which we monitor closely. If you think your site and the streaming media will be popular, you should consider a Semi-Dedicated Plan (http://www.westhost.com/semided-business-hosting.html) or a Managed Dedicated Server (http://dedicated.westhost.com/).

Hopefully this helps. Thanks for considering WestHost!

Thank you guys! I'm not *too* worried about using a ton of resources for my radio blog.. My site is mostly just an art gallery of the stuff I create. There's very few people who really go to my site  . I just thought it would be kinda neat for them to be able to listen to music while browsing my galleries :D
