I have my logs on a folder called

E:\Inetpub\Logs\mysite.com\W3SVC17

on this folder i have logs like
ex061101.log
ex061102.log
ex061103.log

on

E:\Inetpub\Sites\mysite.com\cgi-bin\

I have a awstats.mysite.conf where
LogFile="******"

I need to put something that would help me loop thru my logs and show me statistics
from nov 1 to nov 3

currently i'm only being able to get statistics from the current date

my question is
How can i get statistics from multiple dates if i have my log files on a folder
what do i have to change in awstats.mysite.conf?
what commands do i need to run from dos to make it work

THANKS IN ADVANCE
P.D. = I'm using windows

There might be someone here that would know the answer but since this forum is not specific to Awstats but hosting at WestHost you might have better luck asking your question over at the Awstats Forum (http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=43428) at SourceForge.

I have not played with the program much but I think it can only read a single log file. If that is the case then I would think that you could manually combine the log files (they should be in plain text form so cut and past all into one file) and point to that file. I may be way off on that but you could give it a try... just make backups of the originals. :)

I found a simple overview (http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/onlamp/2005/12/01/awstats.html) of Awstats that mentions "mergeing the logs with the AWStats logresolvemerge.pl utility". I thought it might be of help to you. Also here is a link to the Google Search Results (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GWYA,GWYA:2006-14,GWYA:en&q=Read+multiple+log+files+with+AWSTATS) how I found that page... there may be more that would be helpfull to you.
