For example, in the Server Manager right now it's <title>Login Screen</title> while in http://anysite/manager/ it's <title>Login Info</title>. It makes it unsafe to use in a password manager that automatically enters my name/pass based on the webpage's title.

Can you please set it to something unique like <title>Westhost Server Manager - Login Screen</title> and <title>Westhost Site Manager - Login Info</title>?

Other http://resellers.westhost.com and http://anysite/manager/ , it goes of course to any login box you may have out there.

Thanks!

Why would you be using a password manager to enter your info if you are on a computer that is not secure to you? I am not sure how changing the name would make a difference. If you are using the manager it would still insert the combination if you have told it to.

If you note on the Site Manager, it does not allow you to use "basic" password managers. Perhaps that is how you are thinking the Server Manager (new name for Reseller Manager) should be set up.

I would agree with you that changing the title of the page might make it more distinguishable in a persons bookmarks. :)

You don't get it, it's not that my computer isn't protected...it's just annoying that if other sites make this mistake, then the program shows me a choice box of sites that use such titles (that I built in advance) to choose from instead of just pasting. And other than the annoying factor, I also may end up sending user/pass combinations to unmatching sites.

Password managers, unlike general form fillers, just copy and paste according to titles (or manually) so you can't protect against them...

And you do have a point about favorites. It's not logical to use such global titles where you have endless sites out there.
