I, too, want to know, but after seeing how long your request for help has been in this forum, I don't have confidence in either the usergroup or the staff...

But, generically, I found...
How to generate a CSR for Apache

First, start by generating a 1024-bit Private Key ("server.key") -

openssl genrsa -out server.key 1024

Second, use this Private Key to generate a Certificate Signing Request ("server.csr") -

openssl req -key server.key -out server.csr

Then, take this CSR ("server.csr") and paste it into our web site to get your certificate.

I don't know if this will work, but I may just go directly to tech support and ask since my cert. is up for renewal.

Thanks for the info
Some sort of tutorial would be really welcome

However I understand that our ISP will mostly support their own product for sale

Keep me posted

It took me a bit to find it but there is information on this under Website > E-Commerce > SSL Security (http://members.westhost.com/ssl-web-hosting.html). Although they mention going through Thwart I am pretty sure the process is pretty much the same for other certificate sellers when it comes to the Site Manager and location of files.
