Important Notices
=========================================

- Security Notice (Script Maintenance) -

To maintain the high level of security and integrity of our network,
we would like to remind all of our clients to please update the
scripts that you actively use, and remove the scripts that you don't.
Having an outdated unsecured script on your account can potentially
give malicious hackers access to your website data.

The following 2 popular scripts have recently received critical
updates to address major security flaws:

- phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com/ Latest Version 2.0.15)
- AWStats (http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ Latest Version 6.4)

If you are using either of the above scripts, please make sure that
you have the latest version installed.

NOTE: WestHost 2.0 clients may use the phpBB Site Application
(http://members.westhost.com/sm_sa_communication_phpbb.html)
to upgrade to the latest version. WestHost 1.0 clients will need to
either manually upgrade their phpBB script, or upgrade their account
to WestHost 2.0 (https://corp.westhost.com/upgrade2/) so they may use
the Site Application.

Because our clients have the freedom to install custom scripts
without the aid or knowledge of WestHost, we can not send out
warnings and security updates for each and every script. If at any
time we feel that a script is a security threat to our network, we
reserve the right to remove the script from our servers to protect
our clients and their data.

We know how important your website is, and we work hard to keep it
secure and earn your trust.

- Package Upgrades! -

In an effort to continuously improve our product offering and
services, we've increased disk space and bandwidth limits on our
standard hosting packages! The changes have been made to base package
limits and will not affect any account add-ons purchased separately.

* Starter - 1000 MB Disk Space | 20 GB Bandwidth
* Value - 2000 MB Disk Space | 40 GB Bandwidth
* Deluxe - 4000 MB Disk Space | 60 GB Bandwidth
* Ultimate - 6500 MB Disk Space | 80 GB Bandwidth

Note: If you are on one of our standard hosting packages, these
upgrades will happen automatically within the next week. There is
nothing you need to do.

We have also reduced pricing on 2 year billing for our Value, Deluxe,
and Ultimate Packages. If you are currently on a less frequent
billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, annually), we encourage you to
take advantage of these new savings by upgrading your billing cycle.

* Deluxe - $16.95/mo for 2 year billing ($120 savings over monthly)

will be prorated to reflect the reduced pricing. There is nothing you

What We're Working On
=========================================

- Increased Technical Staffing -

In an effort to improve response times and quality of service, we've
again increased our support staffing throughout our 24/7 work schedule.
We're already seeing improvements and hope you will notice our efforts.

As always, we continue to recommend utilizing our e-mail ticketing system
when submitting issues, however, our new Live Chat software has received
extremely positive feedback from those that have taken advantage of it.

- Website Creator -

We are continuing to work as fast as possible to finish up WestHost's
Website Creator. We are now working to integrate the software with our
systems.

We are still very excited about the potential this web-based software has

Our IT Department continues to focus heavily on improving the
