I'm kind of surprised no one has posted anything yet, but I just wanted to say thanks for refreshing the PHP packages yesterday with updated components compiled in. Good to see! :)

For anyone who missed it, this was part of the announcement:

Due to high demand for additional component support in PHP 4.3.10 and PHP 5.0.3, we have compiled and re-released these versions with the following:

- curl (http://curl.haxx.se/)
- mcrypt (http://mcrypt.sourceforge.net/)
- mysql 4 client
- mysqli 5.0.3 (http://us3.php.net/mysqli)
- Pear (http://pear.php.net/)
- Zend Optimizer (http://www.zend.com/store/products/zend-optimizer.php)

Yep works pretty nice. I have only updated one site so far but all the new stuff is there! I would like to see an update or re-install button on the Site Manager that would do the step of un-install and then turn right around and re-install with the update but can't really complain.

All I get now is the test page in php ... how do I get the old page, the one that said something about Zend ?

Just make a php page with the following inside it and call it up in a browser:

<?php

// Show all information, defaults to INFO_ALL
phpinfo();

?>
http://us2.php.net/phpinfo

On seeing this announcement, I decided it was time to give it a go. I upgraded my site to PHP 4.3.10 and it all worked like a charm, and my scripts seem to be running faster now as a result.

Good job westhost! :)
