That's a java compiler.

It's for installing on your PC, not the server.
You can download it here:

WH does have an App under Development called Java Runtime Enviroment http://members.westhost.com/sm_sa_development_java.html It is what is needed on your server if you want to run java on your site. Is that what you are needing on the server?

I'm no expert on Java, but......

Normally you have Java JRE 1.5 pre-installed on a WH server (JRE=Java Runtime Environment)
Check your installed site applications.
JDK is the Java Development Kit (in your case, the one for windows).

thanx.. yeah thats what i need, the jdk and the jre=)
I need to use .class on server.

From westhost:
"WestHost Tech: The Java Runtime Environment 1.5 is installed on your account,
for the JDK, you would need something like jdk-1_5_0_01-linux-i586.tar.gz so you can compile those sources on the server,"

This i cant find anywere.

Here are a few links that may help you out:
First GOOGLE (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=JDK+ That is a link that searches for JDK The results may help figure out what it takes to get it installed.

I didn't find an exact match on the file but on the same site Suzon mentioned there are some files for linux here http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/java-sun/J2SE/5.0_01/linux/

This mentions the file http://www.freshports.org/search.php?query=linux-sun-jdk&num=10&stype=package&method=exact&deleted=excl udedeleted&start=1&casesensitivity=caseinsensitive

Here are the search results on sun.com for the words Sun Java Development Kit 1.5 for Linux
