View Full Version : domxml

I want to use a php script which uses "domxml" functions. The developer says not all PHP installations have domxml enabled and suggests to run phpinfo() and search for "domxml" in it. I did that and there is no domxml, so I need to enable it before I use this script.

How can I enable/install domxml in php? (and where I download domxml if it isn't in php already?)

I use php4.3.10.

I think you would have to install php yourself.
You would have to find the domxml if it is not included in the distribution.
There is a topic around here somewhere about how to install php yourself.

My installation has domxml installed.

DOM/XML enabled
DOM/XML API Version 20020814
libxml Version 20419
HTML Support enabled
XPath Support enabled
XPointer Support enabled

Mine (4.3.10) does not. I believe 4.3.0 did.

I checked it and I found that I had domxml support with php4.3.0 (I had saved the output of phpinfo() for my site when I had 4.3.0), but now with 4.3.10 I don't have domxml :(

Ah, yes... I still have 4.3.0

Something to keep in mind when upgrading.
