Hello,

I'm just starting to learn Java and I was wondering if there might be some experienced Java programmers here who would know of a forum that is friendly to Java newbies, maybe something like VBCity forums, except for Java, if you are familiar with that place. I can only find places where users are sarcastic and mean if you dont know anything, got any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hello!

You can visit my forum (http://forum.wikinerds.org) and especially this (http://forum.wikinerds.org/viewtopic.php?t=157) and this thread (http://forum.wikinerds.org/viewtopic.php?t=158) where I help another person to learn Java! I can help you too. Just post your question there (or start a new thread under the devTalk (http://forum.wikinerds.org/viewforum.php?f=15) subforum) and I will give you the best answer I can! You can post without an account, but I really recommend you to register for one if you like!

thanks, nsc! Looks like you have lots of great forum topics in addition to programming help.

Maybe I'll direct all my Intro To Java classmates to your board and we'll ask so many questions you'll regret the day you posted the link :D
