I have a VPS and in the advertising list of features
appeared Cron as part of them.
But now I canīt find it.

I think it might be in Management Tools but it is not.

Anybody knows?

Thanks

cron is already installed and AFAIK, you can only access it on the command line. You need to use ssh to login and then use
editcron -e to edit you crontab file.

to use ssh in Unix, issue "ssh myusername@mydomainname.tld"; if you work on Windows use this tool: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

Hi

I tried to use this command as a cron job :
mysqldump -h %s -u %s -p%s %s | gzip > %s/%s/%s-%s%s%s-%s%s.gz

but i got error when trying to save cron's file that says : "bad | sign "
It seems that the pipe is'nt welcome.

Thanks
