Hi,

Have just recently signed up and have just tried to make a normal adjustment I have done on other servers and hosting compainies however this time it dosn't work.

Have seen this issue arise a few times here but no real solution.

I want to parse .htm and .html files through php.

Like most all i get is the usual download file instead of being parsed through php

Have tried editing the httpd.conf and restarting the server with the following with out success

<IfModule mod_php4.c>
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php4 .php3 .phtml .htm
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
</IfModule>

Have tried the .htaccess with out success

AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .php .htm

Also tried in .htaccess with out success

<IfModule mod_php4.c>
AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
</IfModule>

Php is working and parses normal .php extensions correctly.

This is normally a simple process but I'm lost.

Just to note the .htaccess Allowoveride is set to "ALL"

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Well a first for me.

Have solved my problem and for those who experience the same issue heres what I did

Added the followig to my .htaccess to remove the handler of .htm and .html extensions

RemoveHandler .html .htm
