We are using TikiWiki at the office running on IIS, and it is pretty cool for Intranet use, Wiki, Blogs, Polls, etc. It performs well and is very configurable - even for me (after install).

Since TikiWiki is PHP and can use MySQL, I was wondering if anyone is using it at Westhost(?)

I would like to try it on one of my WH sites, but the install is a little (ok, way) over my head. I am not a PHP/MySQL literate - only basic web skills.

Anyone with experience, or advice to offer?

See: http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php for more info.

Thanks...

i don't know what you're asking here...I've installed it and it works just as advertised...Is there a specific concern you have?

I guess first question answered. Someone is using it and it does work on WH environment.

My second question(s) would be, "what does a fairly non-techncal user need to know to install at WH (or will I need help), and if I can "DIY", what specifically needs to be done within the WH environment to get up and running?".

Thanks...
