View Full Version : E-mail alias for parked domain

I was wondering how you can create an e-mail alias for one of the domain names that is "parked" on your account.

For example, the main account domain name is : domainone.com and you have domaintwo.com "parked" on your account. I want to create an email alias bobsmith@domaintwo.com .. I looked in Site Manager and I see where you can have your parked domains use the local mail server, but in the e-mail alias section the only domain it looks like you can create them for is your main account domain..

Did I miss something in Site Manager or is there a work around?

Thanks in advance,

Have a look at this thread:

This is somehthing that is not supported through the Site Manager but can be tweaked manually. In the thread they are talking about email user accounts but it should give you some ideas to get you started. I'll also go and bump the thread so it is at the top of this section. It may help to ask further questions in that thread just incase any of the original posters are still watching the topic.

Your welcome. After I posted my reply to you I went back and read over the thread and realized it was actually dealing with aliases email accounts. It is a bit long but the first fix posted by CK is the basic fix. Can get a bit confusing to read through the rest but kind of helps to understand it all and see examples and different approaches to it.
