Hi,

Is there a more elegant (and efficient) way to have a top-level domain name resolve to
/Merchant2/merchant.mvc
instead of index.html ?
I have a standard javascript redirect command on the index.html page

location.replace("/Merchant2/merchant.mvc");

But is there any other way to do this by changing the config at the server level?

Thanks.

You should be able to use a .htaccess file to do it or you can edit your /ect/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file. The first would be the easiest and safest method. It could slow down the display though. I think you may have the best method already in place.

Take a look at the manager directory. WestHost is using something similiar as you are to redirect to your Site Manager.
