So, I just signed up for web hosting. My package was supposed to come with 10 Gigabytes of transfer each month.

1 Gigabyte = 1024 Megabytes
10 Gigabytes = 10,240 Megabytes

So where are the missing 240 MB?! What's with this rounding down to 10,000?! I posted to find out if it is only me, or if you are short changing other people as well?!!!

I want what I signed up for!

I expected MORE from my web host. I got LESS!!

Hoosier Daddy,

This is something that has been brought to our attention and is something that we plan on changing in the near future. We will be making an announcement when we get this updated on all accounts.

For what it's worth, you will not be cut off at 10,000 Megabytes, or even 10,240 Megabytes. Our hard limits for each package provide a LOT of flexibility for clients to see increased bandwidth usage without experiencing disruption to their service.

I understand your concern based on what you've seen. Please rest assured that you (and others) are NOT being "short changed". We will, however, be getting the limit displays corrected shortly.

Thank you for your post.
