I want to install a Web-Forum on my server and I found one by the name of "Snitz" because UBB was too expensive for a non-for-profit-organization. I was wondering what to put for these fields:

You will need the following information to connect to your database:
SERVER_NAME: This is usually 'localhost', an IP address such as '' or a server address such as 'mysql.server.com', depending on your host. This is not the url for your website.
UID: This will be the username that has permission to connect to the database.
PWD: This will be the password for the username to connect to your database.
DB_NAME: This is the name of your database.

Maybe you can private message me since this information is personal, better yet send me an IM over AOL instant messenger

Log into your SiteManager and then go to Site Applications. First click on Database. You need to install MySQLs. Click it and follow the instructions. Then go back to Communications and click on the phpBB and follow the instructions.

Your board will now be installed. Let me know if you need any more help or get stuck.

What says wjd is the aesyest thing to do but if you still want to login to my sql, once installed the username is "root" the password is the one you chooose when you install mysql from the control panel, server is "localhost" and the database, well, you have to create it first (try using phpmyadmin, really easy to use)
