Anyone done their own IMP install? The SiteManager verison in WH2 has folders and a lot of other features disabled.

Specifically, I want to utilize filters (for Spamassassin) and folders to compliment daily POPing of mail.

Again, anyone done their own IMP install and can offer some suggetions on how it went for you?

The WH install of IMP seems very limited. I have an account at SpamCop, which uses a modified version of IMP, and was really looking to apply that general interface to one of the domains hosted I've transfered to WH.

Boy was I disappointed. I can't even figure out how to add entries into the address book. What happened to folders and filters? :(

I second the prior post's call - has anyone attempted a full install of IMP on a WH 2.0 server? Any success?

Thanks..

Yes, but it seems VERY slow. I installed IlohaMail on my website and it is fantastic!

Hello Everyone,

You also have the option of installing NeoMail for free within your Site Manager. This will go faster than webmail.westhost.com and also provides more options. Let us know if we can help with anything.

erich - I installed IlohaMail yesterday, and it seems pretty cool! Very fast and I like the extras they have written in to it.

Michael - I've started to install NeoMail a couple times, but have had doubts on some of the settings (like quotas, etc). It would be nice to see an example of 'standard' settings for a 10-20 user-base installation.

I wonder why IMP is so slow on our servers? It's definitely not this slow on SpamCop's site.. of course it is pretty modified so maybe they made performance enhancements.
