I just used webalizer for the first time and have a question.

I went in looking for the hits on a certain page. There are several top ten page hit listings. Unfortunately the page I was looking for was not top 10.

I could not find a way to look at the hits for all pages as I was able to do under 1.0.

Am I missing something?

I'm sort of a webalizer newbie myself, but I believe when you set it up you can tell it how many you want displayed. Top 10, 20, 30 etc... Does that help at all?

Hi Charlie,

What you could do is increase the number of URLs shown in the "Top" listing to, say, 50. The settings to change in particular would be TopURLs and TopKURLs. You can change these in the Site Manager by click on the name of the particular Webalizer and then just looking for those settings in the pages that pop up, or you could modify /www/domainname/cgi-bin/plugins/Webalizers/webalizername/webalizer.conf

Fayez and Joey:

I went in and modified the urls as you both suggested - thanks!

Which brings me to another question - is there a way to see daily or weekly stats? - instead of month-to-date numbers.

Charlie,

Happy to help. Unfortunately, I am not aware of a way to view daily/weekly stats for individual pages. As far as I know, you cannot do that with Webalizer. You might need to look up alternate, more detailed log file analyzers, such as AWStats: http://awstats.sourceforge.net though I am not sure if that does what you require either. As a last resort, you could look at your raw access log: /var/log/httpd/access_log.

Fayez:

I'll take a peek at the logs - thanks again!

Charlie,
I have always used a sitemeter counter on my pages. It is free unless you want more reports. It can display a counter or just a small box logo. The Free reports it generates have always been real clear and easy to understand for me and gives you the day by day. Even shows who is on your page in last 20 min or so.

I will take a look at the site counter.

Thanks!
