I have a curiosity question.

Does anyone know how many sites have been converted to 2.0?

I have seen postings where Westhost stated that they had 13,000 customers.

I would like to know how many of the 13,000 have been converted because that could be a good indicator of what still lies ahead.

Since no one has posted a reply - then would someone like to post a guess of how many customers have been converted?

Everyone but Shawn (wildjokerdesign) and I :P

I'd guess they have converted about 75% of people. But that is just a guess. I don't know how many customers they have either. On the netstatus page, they only have one or two non-2.0 servers listed, which is weird because my server is still non-2.0 and it isn't westhost38 (it's westhost35)!

Fayez:

How does one tell a non 2.0 server from looking that the network status page?

The new 2.0 servers have the (name) format wdclnxZZ where ZZ is the number of the server. They also have IP addresses in the form 69.36.161.1ZZ, where, again, ZZ is the number of the server.

The old servers have the format of westhostZZ.westhost.net and their IPs (usually) start with "2" (e.g. 216.71.84.220). I find it strange that they've listed only 3 old servers where, clearly, there are more...

Side note... aleks is back up last I checked but I'm keeping an eye out for him.

ccweb, I want to know how to tell also. I can list the servers that accounts I work with that have switched are on. 9, 20, 21, 23, 25.

Oh and Fayez, My main account is on 2.0 now... opps now he is really gonna be mad. :) I think your estimate is about right.

Naaa... Why would I be mad?

Lucky you :P

I get the best of both worlds: I have one account on 1.0 and one on 2.0...

Approx 2/3 of clients on 1.0 have been upgraded to 2.0 so far. The remaining 1/3 we are looking to get upgraded at the end of the month.
