re: store.hostinterface.com

My customers are presented with the same message, in red, when they CONTINUE following the entry of their credit card, and click CONTINUE:

"Unable to authorize payment: CC-2501: Unable to connect to SSL Server"

via the new manager I have updated site applications-->ecommerce-->'OpenSSL' to contain my domain etc, but nothing improved.

I am uncertain when updating Open SSL what the term "Organizational Unit Name" means.
Does anyone know the format of Organizational Unit Name? (using THAWTE cert)

I have looked at the location for the keys and viewed '..\server.crt' and it is my correct THAWTE assigned SSL certificate:

\usr\local\apache\conf\ssl.crt\server.crt last updated=9/9/2003 11.27
\usr\local\apache\conf\ssl.csr\server.csr last updated=9/7/2003 11.41
\usr\local\apache\conf\ssl.key\server.key last updated=9/9/2003 11.28

1. 'server.csr' has a different date than 'server.crt' and 'server.key' ??
2. I also noticed that '\usr\local\apache\conf\httpd.conf' file points my SSL to :

/etc/httpd/conf/ssl.key/server.key
/etc/httpd/conf/ssl.crt/server.crt
/etc/httpd/conf/ssl.csr/server.csr

Which of the 2 path sets above is the correct one :?:

Anyone with a clue on how to overcome the error message, above :?:

The error message is coming from my card servicing processor, not West Host.

Most likely this was due to the IP address change. I was able to discuss this with my CS company and then I changed the port address for them and it worked, based on their advise to me.

THANK YOU so much for your suggestion.

I Changed the port in the Payment Configuration setting from 1139 to 1129

IT WORKS! - SO Simple Wish we had learned about this last week so that we didn't have so many DOWN days....

THANK YOU all you forum users - many heads are better than one frustrated one.

Cheers to all

This worked for me too. But one question still remains, why?
