Having a problem getting any search engines to index me, unless I pay them. I have one now indexing me but it cost me to get that. Does anyone have a better way to get indexed and found in search engines that don't cost anything? and when indexed how do I get up the rankings so I am seen? Have submitted to free submits on each search engine I could fine over 9 weeks ago. Maybe my site is the problem?? My web site is www.k-and-k-enterprises.com any help any one can offer is great, thanks ahead of time. :( :?:

Looks like you are doing things ok with the site. You do have several pages just underconstruction. It may help to get content on those. Search engins do look at your content (typed information) to try and detremine how relevant your page is. Also try and get your page linked to from other websites that may have content that is relevant to yours.

Also have you checked the WestHost Marketing Manual http://se.westhost.com/mmanual.html.

It can take time to get listed. Don't oversubmit to the same sites to often that can end up hurting you.

I am not an expert on this subject but the above things have helped me get listed.
