Miva has put out version 4.18, with some nice new functionality. Will Westhost be upgrading existing accounts?

As a follow up question, I just got an email from MIVA to an FTP location for downloading 4.18. Is this something I can do myself? Or does Westhost do that?

Also, any news on MIVA 5? I heard it's coming out this year.

Anyone who wishes to upgrade can do it on their own, but we will do it for you if you submit an e-mail to "mivaupgrade@westhost.com" with the domain you wish to upgrade to 4.18.

Hope this helps,

It doesn't appear there are any real changes except changes to the Pay-per-click interface. I found this doc on the MIVA site:
I don't think the Pay-per-click interface is even installed on WestHost accounts is it?

The PPC is part of the Miva Marketplace, not of Miva Merchant, so no, it's not installed on our accounts here. There are a lot of various bugfixes with 4.18 so the upgrade should definitely be worth it.

I recently upgraded to 4.19. According to Miva, the commerce library must be updated to use the CVV code credit card verification feature with Linkpoint. Is Westhost going to be updating the Commerce Library so we can use this feature? Thanks.

Here's the statement from Miva:

"This updated library, v4.0801, is now available on the Commerce Library FTP site."
