We launched our WestHost cPanel system in November 2009. We have provided a one sign-in service at http://cp.westhost.com/ which is tied to an e-mail address. If you order something through WestHost and provide a different e-mail address, it will generate a new WestHost CP Account.

This WestHost Account provides immediate access to contact Support; access your Billing, Contact and Password information; order new products and services; as well as manage any newer hosting accounts via the cPanel Control Panel.

If you have any existing accounts or domain registrations that were ordered before November 2009, that is fine but those accounts and domain registrations are handled in a slightly different manner. These hosting packages are in the WestHost Site Manager system. We are not yet mandating the migration from the Site Manager to the cPanel. At this time, you can move but the transfer of files, accounts and settings is up to you.

Domain Registrations are not managed through one particular tool in either system, but are listed in your WestHost CP Account if ordered after Nov. 2009. We can "migrate" the domain registrations to be listed in the new WestHost interface upon your request, simply contact our Sales department at sales at westhost dot com to initiate this process. No matter where your domain registrations reside, you must still log in to manage them individually through the http://register.westhost.com/admin/ page as we are a domain reseller for eNom.

Thus, if you are seeing that you cannot get to the Site Manager members page from either the WestHost homepage (http://www.westhost.com/) or the Members Area (http://members.westhost.com/), you are likely being redirected to the http://cp.westhost.com/ page because that domain name registration was ordered, renewed, or transferred there.

I hope this has better explained the systems and why there are different logins for different accounts and registrations. If you have any follow-up questions or would like more details on anything in particular, please let our team know!
