View Full Version : Adding new domain to old VPS.

I want to add a new domain to my VPS, however I am at my domain limit so I can not do it through the site manager.

The add-on form in the Members area says "Use the following form to add to your shared hosting or Volume Discount Program accounts".
Now, I'm on the old WH VPS system, not shared or volume.
Do I still use that add-on form, or is there something else for us who are still clinging to our VPS?

I have not bought the domain yet. After doing so, can I add it through the site manager or will WH support have to add it?

What is the url to the page you found? I would bet it is for WH 3.0 accounts. The new WH 4.0 accounts use a system for adding services that is built into their new Client Console that you log into.

The add-on form is at https://corp2.westhost.com/addons/
It says it's for "shared hosting or Volume Discount Program accounts", neither of which is WH3.0. Maybe I'm over thinking things.

That is the old form for WH 3.0. :) Notice it does not have the new slick layout that WestHost is using now. I double checked with Cody in chat and he said yes that would be the form you use for a WH 3.0 account. Once they have things processed you should be able to then simply log into Site Manager and add the new domain as you normally do.
