Hello! I've been browsing the forums, but I can't quite find a solution to the problem I'm having. I'm hoping someone can help me, and if so, I'd greatly appreciate it! I am trying to install WordPress under one of my domains, and here are the steps I've taken:

1. I purchased the domain virtualhealthpartners.com with GoDaddy and added it to the list of domains in my hosting account with WestHost.

2. Under Site Manager > Domains, I set the web directory to /var/www/virtualhealthpartners.

3. I created a MYSQL database, and edited the WordPress wp-config.php file accordingly.

4. Using FTP, I manually installed WordPress to the directory /var/www/virtualhealthpartners.

5. I then tried to load http://www.virtualhealthpartners.com/wp-admin/install.php, but it just goes to a GoDaddy “this webpage is parked” page.

Have I missed a step? I would appreciate any and all insight.

Thank you so much! :)
Erin

It sounds like maybe you did not update the domain name servers with GoDaddy for the domain. http://members.westhost.com/v3/web-hosting/getting-started.html?expandable=6 You need to log into your account with GoDaddy to do this but they should have info on their site if you need help with that part.
