Useful Tips

- SpamAssassin Content Filter -

We understand how frustrating it can be opening your e-mail and finding that you have to sort through SPAM to find just a few useful messages. Luckily we offer a great content filter. If you are using the SpamAssassin filter to help you identify SPAM, SpamAssassin can help you do the sorting. Below are some easy to follow steps that will help you filter messages.

• Convert your e-mail server from the POP3 default to IMAP by installing IMAP Server 1.0. Note that making this change will immediately impact all e-mail users on your account and make their e-mail accessible via your IMAP server.
• Install or update SpamAssassin to the most recent version through your Site Manager.
• Login to your SpamAssassin control panel located at http://yourdomain.com/plugins/spamassassin/config.php.
• Find and check the box next to the “Deliver messages marked as ‘SPAM’ to your IMAP mail folder named:”
• Ensure that you have the field for the folder name populated. By default this will say “Spam.”
