Hi everyone,

I am trying to use my .fr (French) domain names but I have a problem, here it is described by the AFNIC (French organization managing .fr domain names):

* Réf: IETF RFC1035 (p.32 4.2. Transport)
The DNS assumes that messages will be transmitted as datagrams or in a byte stream carried by a virtual circuit. While virtual circuits can be used for any DNS activity, datagrams are preferred for queries due to their lower overhead and better performance.
--> ns2.west-datacenter.net./69.36.161.12
The server does not listen or does not reply in TCP on port 53

If someone can help me, it will be great. Here I am stuck!
I don't have these issues with my domains coming from domain.com...

Thanks a lot, Thomas.

Have you contacted WestHost about this yet? We don't have any control ourselves over the DNS servers for WestHost.

No I did not contact them. I wanted to be sure that I was not an idiot before contacting them :D
So I will contact them, then. Thanks anyway.

Regards, Thomas
