I have a few sites on a VPS here at WestHost. The primary domain uses the provided shared SSL and it works fine. I have started another domain and also want to use SSL for it.

I recently learned that I can purchase my own certificate from WestHost and they will even install it. See this thread...
http://forums.westhost.com/showthread.php?t=10448&highlight=ssl

My questions are; Can they install the new certificate just for the secondary domain and can both certificates live on my server in harmony?

ProAux,

Yes, a purchased certificate can be installed on your account for a secondary domain and the shared certificate will continue to run fine on your primary domain.

You can purchase a certificate through WestHost at:
https://corp2.westhost.com/sslcertorder/
If the certificate is for a secondary domain, please be sure to mention that is the case in the "Notes" section of the order form.

I did what you said. I had them install it and it works very well. Thanks for the help. :)
