I saw in the help docs that this Forbidden error happens when you don't have an index.htm (or html) file. I don't and never have used the htm files because I use index.php. My form was working about a month ago. Somewhere in my mind I think I've had to fix this before but can't remember how or where. I checked httpd.conf and index.php was already there (I moved it to the front). Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hard to say where to point you. index.php is just as valid as index.htm or index.html on an account primary domain. Is this by chance a secondary domain? So if you point your browser to this index.php file you get the error or is there a form somplace else on your site that submits to this index.php?

You have posted in the perl cgi area. Are you sure you are not talking about a cgi - perl script that you are posting to? With them you have to make sure the permissions are set to 755 and you have to upload them normally to your cgi-bin folder.

I'm using MSA formmail like this:

<FORM METHOD=POST ACTION="http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/formmail/FormMail.pl">
<input type=hidden name="recipient" value="whoever@yourdomain.com">
<input type=hidden name="subject" value="Order">
<input type=hidden name="return_link_url" value="http://yourdomain.com/">
<input type=hidden name="return_link_title" value="Back to Main Page">

Am I even in the right forum section?

Did you install MSA via the Site Manager? If so then go in and un install then re-install it. Sounds like perhaps the permissions where changed on FormMail.pl. If you did not install it via Site Manager then check the permissions that are set on it. They should be 755 as I mentioned befor.

Yes you are in the correct forum. :)

Thank you for pointing out something I should known to try. The uninstall/reinstall worked. :)
