I am not familiar with zz bloick. Is it one of the mods here: http://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mo...ns/security-5/ I did find a zblock via google but it is for a game server not for a forum. More then likely what ever you have been looking at is a modification for a forum and that would mean that you need to add it to each individual forum.

I did not type in the right name It is zbblock it works with stop forum spam data.

Ahh ok. I've never used this but it looks like it is a script that you can install once to the server then for each php program (forum) you have you need to add a line of code to the first line. It all depends on how you have your account setup and where you install the program.

If you download the script then unzip it there is a file called docs.txt that explains this. Make sure you read the file closely. The download of the program itself is not all you need. You also have to down load the signatures file and upload it to your server. This program has no automatic version updating on it so you need to make sure and register with their forum and keep an eye if there are new versions or security releases or follow their twitter feed. These are noted at the top of the download page.

Looks like it could be beneficial but you'll need to keep it up to date and the program is still in Beta. This script could lock you out of your own php scripts. First step if that happens would be to remove the line of code they have you add to your forum scripts. Then you would need to check their forums to find out what went wrong.
