Problems:

If you find that the new Westhost 3.0 platform's "Client Upgrade Information Tool" or the "Control Panel" do not work with your alternative browser,
you may see the following symptoms:

* Client Upgrade Information Tool
https://v3upgrade.west-datacenter.net/whlogin.php

Seamonkey Browser v1.1.9 of March 2008
Upon entering username and password you get the following error:

The following error has occurred while loading your account information: Javascript error: TypeError: ret[i].getElementsByTagName is not a function

* Control Panel

Seamonkey Browser v1.1.9 of March 2008
Upon entering username and password you get the following:

Another window appears requesting to enter your username and password again.
You enter it and it keeps asking the same thing over and over. No meaningful
error message is displayed.

Solution:

In your browser, Enable cookies.

Comments to Westhost:

1.) For the Client Upgrade Information Tool and the Control Panel.
how about adding some error checking and notify the user to
enable cookies in their browser?

2.) When sending a hyper-link to the Westhost customers via Email,
always include the URL that can be copied & pasted into any browser
in case the hyper-link fails for any reason.

Thank you
