Default My emails go to peoples spam/junk folders

I use about 7 email accounts, all from one domain which is the main domain

5 are for receiving email only (links@....com, domains@....com etc) but 2 I use to send email (info@...com and myname@.....com

All email configured with Entourage(Mac version of Outlook)

Receiving is no problem but half the time I send a message I get no reply because it goes straight to their junnk/spam folder. In the case of hotmail, it doesn't arrive at all unless it's a reply to their email. I start sending email with these work accounts then resort to using my personal email from my ISP! I assume this is because my westhost emails accounts are unlimited alias accounts

The domains are registered with godaddy and I looked at their secure email option, one free with each domain (should I be having to resort to this?!) but it says I need to change setting on my westhost account "validate MX records", "Change your MX records to............"

I don't want to change all, just the main 2 but no idea how to go about this or this there a better solution?

    Thanks

Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL all have postmaster policies which you need to read. I believe that AOL (and maybe Hotmail) require you to have a SPF record while Yahoo recommend the use of DomainKeys.

    Try these links:
    Hotmail
    AOL
    Yahoo

How do I "publish their Sender Policy Framework (SPF) records"?

There's nothing under 's' in the help section and nothing on Entourage/Outlook help

    Thanks

adding an spf record can be done in a matter of minutes(you need to put in a ticket so that can take a few hours). Certainly do it. Hotmail delivery will most likely become okay. Also check at dnsstuff.com if your domain is on any spam lists.

Westhost guys got a bunch of IP addresses which were dynamic IPs so were on Spamhaus PBLs. Just a quick notification to spamhaus, or a ticket to westhost will clear that.
