logging cookies?

This may be very simple, but if I'm setting cookies with php on a site hosted with WestHost is there anything "special" I need to do with the Apache logfile for the cookie data to be logged?

I think you will have to use PHP to write the cookies to a separate log file. As far as I know, Apache doesn't do that.
