I was surprised to see WestHost in Russia. The company is more widespread than I thought!

Very odd. The name is the same but the feel of the site is not. Well kind of the old set up. The little bit of bable tranlation I could get out of it leads me to belive they do not offer VPS technology but shared hosting. Kind of hard to tell since translators do such a lousy job.

I wonder if they are truely connected.

I actually ran across this site a few years ago, it is a copy of WestHost's old site design but it is not associated with this WestHost.

Is it just me or is any domain with a tld of .ru just a pain for the most part? Those are the ones who seem to want to spam my boards the most. :) I am sure there are legit domains in russia but all every get wind of are the ones selling something or trying to spam.

Just to be clear: This is a rip-off site. It is not associated with WestHost in any way. They have been there for a number of years. Sad to see they are still around.
