More Resources?!?

This has been mentioned somewhere before. By why are the reseller bandwidth and hard disk space so low in comparison to your hosting accounts. I recently changed from a WestHost 2.0 account that had more bandwidth and hard disk space than my reseller account. It really does not allow use to create competitive hosting packages when our resources are so low. Are these going to change anytime soon?

P.S. What happened to my bandwidth and hard disk space that I had accumulated over 4 years with WestHost… was this just not transferred to my reseller account?

Most resellers oversell the resources which is how you make it competitive. They find that thier users don't use the full bandwidth and hard disk space that is allowed them. You are right it has been mentioned before and actually others have explained better them I have but that is the main gist of it.

Not sure on your ps question. You would need to check with support on that one. Have you checked to see what your old account settings are? See if it has add ons tacked on to it by WH.

I'm not having any problems so far with that either, most sites really don't require much recources, especially for your run of the mill site with low traffic.
Really only if you have lots of multimedia or a lot visitors will you run into problems.
