Secondary mail server

Does anyone know if Westhost uses a secondary mail server to store mail in case the primary mail server goes down or does mail just get bounced back to the sender in that case?

I don't think mailers give up if mail can't be delivered on the first try. They just queue it and try again and finally give up after several days. That's my experience anyways. You send a message, it's undeliverable, and after several days the message is bounced back from the mailer-daemon stating that it was unsuccessful after so many days. And besides WH has redundant servers so if the failure is catastrophic a healthy one takes over.
