Recommended form app?

Just moved site to Westhost and having problems getting my email forms to work. Built in FP cause that's all my last host supported. Nothing else requires FP so rather than troubleshooting I'd like to use something else.

But what? I see a few choices in the canned apps, but what is recommended for implementing 2 or 3 email *contact me* forms? And any pointers to basic setup instructions? Site is built with DMX and lots of hand tweaking, but I'm a novice at PHP and these kinds of things.

Formmail is the standard for this kind of thing. And its available on Westhost, they even have a page about it in the manual.

Thanks. I'd found FormMail, installed, reworked the page and configured according to the ReadMe, but I'm getting the *internal error or misconfiguration* message. I'm trying to go thru the logs and looking for working examples.

I see you had a similar problem - how did you solve it?

Any samples of working forms you can point me to?

Replaced with nms-FormMail and it seems to be working now.
