Auto Response Plus or other

Hi, I'm looking to implement a more robust autoresponder on my site and was wondering:

1) has anyone setup and used Auto Response Plus (ARP) by ClickBuilders or Optin Lightning by Brian Garvin on Westhost?

2) if so, what problems and issues have you had?

3) is it worth investing in either of them?

I would also be very interested in any other alternatives any of you might have experience with.

I use Autoresponder Plus and am in the process of setting it up on Westhost. The only issue I have is getting it to accept subscriptions via email. I can do via forms no problem. And all the other functions work. But getting an email piped via .procmail or .forward did not work. .procmail did test ok to an external yahoo email address but did not pipe. Also on the command line alias I tried using the pipe | and it gives and error. Although in other threads user are saying they are using the pipe command. So I give APR3 a 8 out of 10 on Westhost at this point.

How did you try setting up the Command Line Alias? I know that in the past there have been some issues with setting up pipes but don't remember the specifics. Seeing what you set up may jog my memory. :)
