New WH2.0 Guestbook bug(?)

Hi.

The new Guestbook (newest vers.) is running fine, but if a guest does not fill-in the email line, the $recipient does not get an entry notification email. The log gets an entry and the guestbook.html gets the entry fine as well.

Here is config in the script:

$mail = 1;
$uselog = 1;
$linkmail = 0;
$separator = 1;
$redirection = 0;
$entry_order = 1;
$remote_mail = 0;
$allow_html = 0;
$line_breaks = 0;

Client does not want html active or the guest to get a reply.

Any hints or help appreciated,

I tested it out and it worked for me even if the E-mail address was not filled in. Weird. Maybe you need to re-install it? The only two changes I made to the config file was to turn on mail and remote_mail.

If you really need that feature, I'd recommend finding another guestbook script - I'm sure there are hundreds out there. Check out www.hotscripts.com You should be able to find something that fits your requirements.
