Location of .redirect and .procmailrc files in WH2?

Can anyone confirm where to place the two subject files in a WH2 setup? After migration, they were in /home/domain but did not appear to be active. I linked them to / and they appear to work.

Is / the proper directory for these two files?

For the "root" account / is now the home (~) directory. That is where my .procmailrc is and it works. Haven't tried .redirect.
