E-zines, podcasts, e-books, RSS feeds, content management, Ruby, CakePHP, collaborative workspaces, photo hosting, publishing content to wireless, social networking..........so many things come down the pipe every day and I'm just scratching my head about how to keep up with all things NEW as they come to light.

Can you tell me how you keep up? Is there a good cutting-edge magazine, site, e-newsletter that covers "new stuff", or a web site (like http://clickz.com used to be) that will help me to not sound like a total moron next time a client calls and wants "that thing he read about in MacWorld...."

What do YOU read to keep up?

Thanks,
M

Belive it or not I use Google and the sites for the "programs" themselves. While thier manuals can sometimes be a bit dry they really do have the best information and are normally kept current. Sites like php.net have user comments that can be very helpfull.

I Google phrases and names like you have posted from time to time to see what comes up. I really feel that is a better approach then sticking with one source.

I am subscribed to several mailing lists at computerworld.com, on everything about IT (serious topics only, not gaming/hacking/etc). If I see an interesting article title in their e-mails, I click to read it.
